When we visited Cuyahoga Valley, we stayed at this KOA and had a good experience.
The Streetsboro/Cleveland SE KOA is conveniently located near Cuyahoga National Park and offers various camping options, including tent sites, RV hookups, and cabins.
Some amenities include a swimming pool, playground, game room, wifi, fishing ponds, dump stations, and mini-golf. Remember to stop by the General Store for some ice cream!
With its proximity to outdoor activities in the park and attractions in Cleveland, it's an ideal base for exploring the area.
The campground also hosts weekend events throughout the season.

Stow Silver Springs Campground
Stow Silver Springs Campground offers a comfortable camping experience. Whether pitching a tent under the stars or parking your RV for the night, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The City of Stow owns and operates the campground. Drop-in camping isn't available, so you will need to make a reservation at least a day in advance.
There are 27 campsites available, some of which are open spaces and others shaded. Each site has a picnic table, electrical hookup, fire ring, and grill.
Water spigots are located throughout the campground, along with amenities such as a trailer dump station and portable restrooms. Flush restrooms are located at the nearby ball fields.
While camping at Silver Springs Park, you can access a wide range of amenities and activities.
Heritage Lake offers fishing, scenic hikes along wooded trails, family fun at the SOAR playground, pet-friendly spaces at Bow Wow Beach, and tennis and basketball courts.
There are plenty of open fields for impromptu games and activities. The best amenity is that the campground borders the Cleveland Metropark Bike and Hike Trail.
This campground is a great place to stay if you want a cheap stay and nearby bike trail access.

Valley Overlook at Camp Mueller
Located 25 miles from downtown Cleveland and 10 miles from Akron, Valley Overlook offers a serene escape with 62 wooded acres.
This family-run private campground provides various stays: primitive tent sites, furnished canvas tent cabins, and 4-season cabin rentals.
This former summer camp for city kids is just a half-mile from the Hunt House Trailhead on the Towpath Trail; it's an excellent location for biking enthusiasts and a perfect place to bike in for a stay!

Heritage Farms
Heritage Farms offers an authentic return-to-nature camping experience by selecting nine primitive tent sites, three A-frame sites, and three Adirondack-style camping shelters.
These are available for booking exclusively via HipCamp. Campsites are a manageable walk (300 yards or less) from the parking area, spaced approximately 50 yards apart.
Every site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Porta-johns are near the sites. You will need to provide your water for your camping adventure.
If you need to charge your phone while camping, no worries. A phone charging station is located in the upper parking lot information booth.
