If you're looking for outdoor adventures in the State of Michigan, you won't be disappointed. Michigan offers everything, from hiking and camping to kayaking and fishing. Here are three must-visit destinations to add to your Michigan Bucket List.

Isle Royale National Park

Isle Royale National Park is a remote wilderness area in Lake Superior. It is only accessible by boat or seaplane, which adds to its allure.

Once you arrive, you'll find over 165 miles of hiking trails, pristine lakes for fishing and swimming, and abundant wildlife. The park is home to moose, wolves, and a variety of bird species.

If you're staying for a few days, consider backpacking the Greenstone Ridge Trail, which spans the island's length.

Note: Boat access is available from Copper Harbor or Grand Portage in Minnesota. The Minnesota option is a bit shorter, and that's the route we took. The seaplane option is available from Houghton, MI, and Grand Marais, MN.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park

Tahquamenon Falls State Park is located in the Upper Peninsula and is home to one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. The park offers over 40 miles of trails and fishing, kayaking, and camping opportunities.

Note: The market is open on Saturdays, so arrive early for the best parking options.

Note: You must take a ferry from St. Ignace or Mackinaw City to get to the island.

Petoskey State Park is a great place to visit for a quieter beach experience. The park features a mile of sandy beach along the shores of Lake Michigan, as well as several hiking trails and picnic areas.

One of the park's highlights is the abundance of Petoskey stones, a type of fossilized coral unique to the area. You can spend hours searching for these stones along the beach or enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

To get to Turnip Rock, take a kayak or paddleboard from the nearby Port Austin Harbor. The journey takes about two hours, and it is a great way to experience the beauty of Lake Huron up close.

Once you arrive at Turnip Rock, you can take in the breathtaking views and snap some photos to remember your visit.
