From scenic drives through quaint towns to the grand mountain vistas, many destinations cater to the adventurous spirit and those seeking a peaceful retreat, offering a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

I love fall drives in Michigan! Acadia National Park in the fall is breathtaking, and the Smoky Mountains fall colors are also incredible! If you have a long weekend, Hocking Hills is also a great Ohio fall escape!

If you have not visited New Mexico, be ready for a treat. The number of historic sites and scenic views was a pleasant surprise when I visited. It's one of the best fall destinations—visit in early October for the Hot Air Balloon Festival!

You can walk along the rim of the canyon or venture into it. Either way, marvel at its beauty and grandeur! Fall is one of the best seasons to visit, as the cool temperatures make it more comfortable and there are fewer crowds.

Another must-see natural wonder in Arizona is the Saguaro National Park. This park is home to thousands of saguaro cacti that can grow up to 50 feet tall. You can take a hike through the park and experience the beauty of the desert up close.

Visit in late September to late October for a colorful scenic drive along the Oak Creek Canyon. You can find Oak Creek Canyon along Hwy 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff.
